Marion grew up in suburban New York City and raised her son and daughter in central Florida. Having a master’s degree in chemistry and a doctorate in Education, she spent 28 years teaching chemistry at the community college level. Now retired, Marion lives in Nebo, where she pursues her interests in oil painting and golf. She serves on several boards in McDowell County.
