Gateway Grants
Through intentional partnerships and collaborations, Gateway Wellness Foundation invests in programs, initiatives, and organizations that promise to improve the health and well-being of residents in Burke, McDowell, Polk, and Rutherford Counties.
Our mission is to address the social determinants of health in western North Carolina. One way we do this is by providing funding to organizations whose work aligns with our mission.

If your project’s scope merits an amount in excess of these suggestions, we recommend you inform our grants staff in advance by emailing [email protected].
The online application form must be completed in one sitting. The online form does not allow the user to save a partially completed application and come back at a later time to complete it.
We encourage you to prepare your application and attachments offline and return to this page when you are ready to submit everything. A downloadable copy of the application questions and the project budget template are provided below for your convenience. In order to edit the files below, you must first download and save your own local copy.
